Yau Tsim Mong District is located in the south of the Kowloon Peninsula, taking up an area of 6.99 sq km with a population of about 310 600.
Known for its multi-cultural diversity and harmony, Yau Tsim Mong District is a place where modern and historic architecture coexist, and people of different ethnicities get along with one another. It is also an important business and tourism centre in Kowloon. The high pedestrian flow, and clusters of large shopping malls, commercial buildings, retail shops, restaurants and hotels signify its prosperity and vitality.
